Position Summary

WESTMED Practice Partners is looking for a dynamic trainer who will develop and deliver employee training programs. Identifies skill or knowledge gaps among the organizations employee population and develops training content in response to identified training needs. Selects training tools or training delivery mechanisms, based on the material being taught and the audience being targeted. Creates and maintains course content, manuals, or other training materials. Coordinates guest trainers or subject matter experts (SMEs). Assesses the impact of training programs by measuring employee understanding of the subject matter. Experience and Education: Performs work with a high degree of latitude. Handles the most complex issues. Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter. Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring. May act as lead or first-level supervisor.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging programs utilizing adult learning principles and ensure transfer of learning through effective instructional design methods.
  • Facilitate classroom and webinar sessions
  • Partner to provide L&D expertise and co-create solutions with key business partners at all levels within the organization to align on training priorities.
  • Provide Individual and Group Coaching
  • Help drive and shape L&D initiatives aimed at individual contributors
  • Administrate LMS and help increase usage and optimization of functions
  • Manage training calendar
  • Maintain online course catalog
  • Manage, build and administrate external vendors
  • Administrate L&D Newsletter and related organizational communication
  • Lead multiple projects as needed
  • Adjust and grow with L&D and OD initiative

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree in Business required
  • 3-5 years designing and delivering learning and development programs with a focus on skill development
  • Track record of results and positive evaluations. Experience with classroom and webinar facilitation. Experience shaping initiatives and driving strategy.
  • Certified Professional Coach [CPC] from an ICF accredited program with 3+years consistent coaching experience required.
  • Formal training, education, or certifications in Adult Learning, Human Performance Technology, Instructional Design, Training Delivery, and Training Evaluation required
  • 2+ years administrating or assisting to administrate an LMS Learning Management System
  • Execute the complete training cycle including: needs analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation of transfer effectiveness
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with performance and talent management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, organizational and coordination skills
  • High level of professionalism, executive presence and credibility; able to effectively challenge and influence peers and customers
  • Project Management Experience
