Position Summary

Westmed Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Internal Medicine department at the Rye, New York office location. The NP provides general medical care and treatment to patients in adjunct with the physician team.  This is done in collaboration with a licensed physician qualified in the specialty involved and in accordance with an approved written practice agreement and protocols.




Required Qualifications

  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing/NP experience
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to travel to other office locations as required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and co-workers
  • Strong communication skills with physicians on a continuous basis in regards to patient care
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of EMR and Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Knowledge of palliative medicine billing codes
  • Knowledge of budget preparation spreadsheets
